My blog is about stigma of Alcohol addiction. I live in Lancaster where there are nineteen bars. People are always drinking and partying. Some more than others, they are ones with dui's and cause car accidents. Alcohol addiction is a disease and very hard to cure. Many cannot stay away from the need of it. On Facebook, people post pictures of their night out on the town. they even leave their children so they can drink rather than be a parent. The ones who get caught the most with the addiction are the people who use itto numb their soul. They are lost or angry so they use alcohol to get them by. I honestly see why people who drink can't stay away for long, because wherever they turn there is a bar or something on TV that reminds them that they want It. I dated a guy for three years who wanted to drink every day. He would spend from noon to night at the bar most times and be totally oblivious to what was going on around him. when he Didn't have money, He would steal money out of my purse or sell my stuff so he could get money to drink. I even lost a close friend because we were young and wanted to drink and drive, we can never bring her back. Alcohol addiction is a very dangerous disease which affects that person and those around them.
